Usually, yes, if the laptop is less than about five or six years old and the rest of it works well. Common faults such as a cracked screen, a worn-out battery, a broken charging port or a slow hard drive cost far less to fix than buying a new laptop. If a repair would cost more than the laptop is worth, we’ll tell you honestly. Our guide Repair or Replace? When It’s Worth Fixing Your Laptop explains how to decide.
It depends on your laptop’s make and model and the type of screen it uses. A standard panel costs less than a touchscreen or a high-refresh-rate gaming display. Call us with your model for a free diagnosis over the phone and a no-obligation quote. The screen is charged at the lowest manufacturer rate for your model, and you’ll get a clear price before any work starts. See our laptop screen replacement page for more.
If we can’t fix your device, you don’t pay for the repair. You only pay once the job is done and your device is working properly again, and we explain all costs before we start, so there are no surprises.
