Hard drives, SSDs, USB sticks & memory cards · No Fix, No Fee · Same-day call-out
Losing family photos, coursework or business records is stressful, but in many cases the files are still there. PC Masters recovers data from laptops, desktop PCs, external hard drives, SSDs, USB sticks and memory cards for homes and businesses across Luton, Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Harpenden and Leighton Buzzard.
Whether files were deleted by mistake, a drive was formatted, Windows won’t start or a disk has started clicking, your technician assesses the device carefully before trying anything. The sooner you stop using a failing drive and call us, the better your chances of getting everything back.

Book online in a couple of minutes or call 0800 145 5521. Tell us what’s wrong and pick a time, Monday to Saturday, 9am–8pm.
A technician visits your home or business, checks the device and tells you what can be recovered and what it will cost before any work starts.
Many recoveries are done there and then. If a part needs ordering or the job needs more time, we’ll arrange a drop-off or take the device to our workshop and return it, with your files, once it’s done.
If we can’t recover your files, you don’t pay for the recovery. Your data stays private, and any repair or replacement drive we fit comes with a warranty from 1 month up to 36 months: our basic service includes 1 month, and the bigger the job, the longer the warranty.
If a new drive is needed for your recovered files, it’s charged at the lowest manufacturer rate and agreed with you first. Badly damaged drives may need specialist work, and we’ll explain the options and costs first.
Often, yes, but stop using it straight away, as every attempt to start a failing drive can cause more damage. Switch it off and call us. If the drive needs specialist cleanroom work, we’ll tell you honestly before anything is done.
In many cases, yes. When files are deleted, the space is only marked as free, so the sooner you stop using the device, the better the chance of getting them back.
Yes. Your files are only accessed to recover them and are never shared. They’re returned to you on a new drive or your repaired device, and we can securely wipe the old drive if you no longer need it.
We can set up automatic back-ups to an external drive or cloud storage, so your files stay protected in future.
